RWHC Annual Brunch
This Brunch is the featured highlight event of the year for RWHC. Women gather from all ethnicities, backgrounds, careers, etc. for a day filled with girl-friend fun, encouragement and empowerment, giving, sharing and loving each other. One of the ways we celebrate our uniquenesses and diversities is we wear whatever we feel like wearing that day. At our annual brunch you will see women attired from one end of the spectrum to the other; from the lady in short-shorts and gladiator sandals to the church lady in her Sunday best with matching hat. It’s all good!
Each year we have anywhere from 700 to 1000+ women in attendance. Real Women Have Curves is a fellowship of women designed to be a blessing to every woman in attendance in a tangible way. No one leaves without receiving a gift. This Brunch’s agenda speaks to the girl that remains in us. It is the girl in us that remembers what it’s like to get drenched in the rain, what it’s like to really dance like no one is watching and we don’t care if they are; to sing even if it is off key; the girl who remembers the need for girl-play so that the woman can thrive.
It is an event that women travel from near and far – from New York, Connecticut, North Carolina, Atlanta, Virginia, to name a few with their sisters, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, friends, neighbors and co-workers celebrating our diversities and sisterhood. We have many vendors who sell everything from soup to nuts for women, children, housewares, etc., even something for the men in our lives.
Our ultimate goal is to touch the heart of each woman – mind, body and soul – while igniting our spiritual awareness through our love, fellowship, witness and the Word. The Word of the Lord declares, “…To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Every RWHC Brunch is a time to laugh, a time to dance, a time to gather, a time to embrace, a time to forget (for a few hours anyway), a time to love, a time to heal. It your time! It’s my time! It’s our time. Let the festivities begin!
This event is held annually at the Pines Manor, Edison, NJ, and we are looking forward to a grand time this year as well. We hope you’ll join us. If you’re never been, you just have to come and experience it for yourself. Bring a friend! Wear your dancing shoes! It’s one of the biggest girl-friend parties, and we invite you all to come.
